Cole is a playful boy who is ready to be your copilot on all of your adventures. He is an active dog but settles nicely in his room after exercise and playtime. He is very goofy, loves to give kisses, and get belly rubs. Cole knows how to sit so far and is improving on his leash skills each time our dog walkers take him out. Cole was rescued from a southern shelter that said he was 'learning how to be social with other dogs.' One of our dog walkers has really taken a liking to Cole and has been slowly getting closer and closer to other dogs when he is out and about. Our best guess is that Cole needs to be out of the shelter setting, decompress a bit, and then may be capable of having dog companions in the future. He shouldn't live with small children at this time as he lacks manners when greeting people (he is a strong boy who doesn't quite understand his size yet). Cole is a smart dog and eager to learn. He is crate-trained and very likely house-trained (he doesn't have accidents in his room when left loose). He is a 4 year old, 66 lb. male mixed breed. He is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly flea/tick & heartworm preventatives.
