About Ladybug the happy dog

Lab mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

REHOMING: Rescued this lost yellow lab/mix January 3, 2023. She had been wandering around Moyers and a friend was afraid she would get hit by a car or freeze in the cold weather and told me about her. They had taken her into their apartment during the freeze and she was house trained and was very obedient. But their housing doesn't allow animals and threatened to get rid of her. So I came to pick her up. She was so friendly and immediately jumped in my car when I met her the first time. Things I've learned about her. 1. Amazing with kids (very patient w my two toddlers), 2. Seems to have been an indoor/outdoor dog (my husband has allergies so she has only been outside w us), 3. She will come when called off leash but on her own terms (not immediately but she always comes back), 4. Very clean, never poops in the barn or dog run but only in the woods when I walk her, 5. Good with cats, good with other dogs 6. Looks like she has been spayed 7. Loves driving in the car 8. Loves going for walks 9. Seems trained with basic training and perhaps some hunting training too 10. Not trustworthy with free range chickens 11. We named her Ladybug 12. Not usually a barker, pretty calm and chill dog just wants to be loved and with people 13. Good with larger livestock like goats, horses, and cows Cons: 1. May kill chickens, didn't for almost two months w mine but then out of the blue I came out to one dead in the barn and she was the only dog in that enclosure. 2. Stays enclosed cause I have electric fencing, but tried to dig out of my barn stall the first night, so I'm not sure how she will relate to different types of yards and being enclosed. My husband doesn't want us to keep any more dogs, she killed one of his beloved chickens, don't want to put her on a chain (not comfortable with that) so I need to try to find her a home asap. I will bring her anywhere within an hour from Antlers, OK. To go to a new home if someone can't come get her.
