About Marty

Name: Marty Breed: Yorkie Age: Approximately 11 years Up to date on all shots and neutered. Marty was rescued from a puppy mill where he was used for breeding. Marty was very scared when we first got him and brought him home. He hid in the back of his crate and refused to even look at us out of fear. Fast forward a month and you wouldn't even know he is the same dog! He loves his humans and attention. He now wags his tail and is so excited to see us when we approach his crate. While he is still leery of strangers he doesn't now, he will warm up to them once he feels they are trustworthy. He does great in his crate. He was not housebroken when we got him, but we have been working with him and he is doing fantastic. He is a very smart little boy. Marty has 4 foster brothers. Two German Shepherds and two 15 lb mixes. He absolutely loves them all and they all love him. He loves to snuggle up with any of them given the chance. Marty would love to have a doggie friend in his new home but would do great as an only dog too. According to the records it shows Marty is 11 yrs old. He certainly doesn't seem that old to us. He is very energetic, high spirited and very curious of his surroundings. Ideally, he would have a fenced in area but he does fine on a leash as long as he is supervised when he is out.
