About Arrow

Arrow was abandoned along with his brother and parents, when his family moved. One by one people were able to catch and rehome all but Arrow, leaving him on his own which resulted in feral behavior in order for him to survive. MHS Rescue Team trapped him and immediately made sure he received medical care. With the communities help in donations we were able to get him in board & train and thanks to Rosie, the trainer, it has been a success and has brought out Arrows very loving and kind personality! Arrow is almost 1 year old and fully vetted. He is a sweet and silly guy! He needs an owner who is experienced with Border Collies. Arrow is very playful and loves balls! He is an active dog but also cuddly and will relax with you on the couch. He is great with other dogs and pretty much ignores cats. He would love a home with another dog who shares his happy hyper energy. Since Arrow was left outside, he is still learning about potty training, but is a very smart boy and will learn with patience and consistency. He needs a very secure yard. He is still young so does have some puppy behaviors like chewing on stuff. He does bond strong with one person in the home, but loves everyone equally. He has some separation anxiety, but with continued work, it shouldn't be an issue. He's still learning on walks that the outside world isn't big and scary. His new family will need to be patient and motivated to help guide him. His trainer will also be available to help with transitioning him into his new home.
