About Poppy & Daisy

These sisters are nothing short of amazing! Poppy is blind but a bold little spirit and Daisy is sighted and the more thoughtful and sensitive of the two. She may come across as shy but she truly knows that by being more cautious she'll be able to help out Poppy if she gets into mischief. Ideally, these sisters would be adopted together into a very special home. They need a patient, experienced human who loves this unique pair, or a warm and open hearted person who wants to train along with these super sweet pups as they learn how to joyfully navigate the world. Whoever adopts Poppy and Daisy will be getting devoted, precious companions ready to add so much love to their forever home! If they sound like a perfect fit for you then fill out an adoption application today! Poppy and Daisy are 12-week old hound mix sisters. Poppy weighs 15.5 lbs and Daisy weighs 17 lbs. They are both adorable and loving. They are being fostered in Riverhead, NY. Their foster mom says, 'Poppy is such a sweet girl and being blind does not slow her down. She comes when you call her. She goes outside with Daisy and my dog; she is able to go up and down stairs. Daisy is also a love. She loves to snuggle in. if you're on the couch she wants to be right beside you. She also comes when called and loves to be held. They both get along with other dogs, and are great around my young kids, ages 3 and 5, and cats. They love to be with each other. They sleep next to each other, sometimes on top of each other. They love to play outside in this beautiful weather. They are great in the car and enjoy playing with their toys.' The girls love each other so much, so we'd love these two little girls to be adopted together. Both girls are vaccinated and microchipped. The adoption fee is $675 for each dog. We require a fully fenced yard and not an invisible fence, for the safety of the dogs.
