Knick is full of personality! He is a Bluetick/Jack Russell mix and is three years old. He is up to date on all vaccines, weighs just under 30 pounds and is neutered. Knick came from a suspected abuse situation. He has completed the Canine Good Citizen course, eight one on one sessions with a trainer and training with a dog behaviorist. He has come a long way, but still exhibits some anxiety when meeting new people, particularly men. He warms up with repeated exposures and continued use of formal dog walking techniques. He does best with a steady alpha. Knick gets along well with other dogs and likes being part of a pack. He has lived with four cats for the past 18 months and they are buddies. It is unknown how he interacts with children due to little exposure. Knick loves to play ball and interact with stuffed puzzle games. He is motivated by play and treats. He is crate trained and sleeps well there or snuggling in with you. He is not a fan of riding in the car and does best when crated. He is invisible fence trained and is an overall quick learner when given consistent training.
