Mollie is a real sweetheart with her humans. Nearly 8 years old, purebred Australian Shepherd. She was rescued from going to a kill shelter nearly 8 months ago after her owner passed away. She is overweight at 70lbs but otherwise healthy. She loves getting love from her humans, playing fetch with her ball and going riding in a car or truck. She is protective of her humans. We do not know how she is with small children. She is good around cats. She has demonstrated aggressive behavior around little female dogs. She is great on a leash and completely house trained. We believe that she is crate trained but we have not crated her. She tried getting into a small crate. She really would be exceptional being a solo dog. She is great with our male Aussie. But we have 2 small rescues in our home, and Mollie has attacked the female 4 times now. At first it appeared to be protective attacks, protecting momma and daddy but it has gone past that. Besides her affliction towards little dogs she is a great companion. Good around cats. She truly deserves a better home than what we can provide. Please help me get her into a good loving home.
