About Tonya

Welcome Tonya to CCPAL Rescue. Tonya is a 10-week-old puppy. She is the middle-sized girl in her litter and the paperwork says she is a Boxer mix. She is good with dogs of all sizes and the cat named Sam. She is playful and may be too playful for a cat without another dog to play with. She is not as active as Allister her brother. She seems to have more of the personality of the Lab puppy. She is energetic, outgoing and very inquisitive. She has a soft short coat and is not a big shedder. She is playful and loves that but soaks up a good cuddle. She is affectionate and playful but doesn't prefer playing over being held. She was loving all the toys and she loves to play with her siblings. She should be 50 pounds full grown. She has down ears and a very soft short coat and a gorgeous mask and stripe on her face. She would be good with children and she is energetic and outgoing. Everyone is her friend. We like children to be 8 or older. An active family that wants an active companion to join their family would be the best placement. Someone that has had a Boxer/Lab puppy and knows the ins and outs of those breeds would be great. She is getting her puppy shots and will be spayed soon. She is absolutely adorable. Someone not working 8 hours every day all week long is best for any puppy. Puppies require training and socialization to be well rounded adults. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180.
