This good boy was born 12/31/2017 and named Devin. His first family adopted him from a shelter in CA around March 2018, after he was alerted and had all of his puppy inoculations, and named him Marley. Then, they moved to MO added to their family and Marley became very protective of his kids. As the kids got older, the parents worried that he would hurt someone if he thought one of his kids was in danger. April 2021, Marley was rehomed to Harrisonville, MO. Marley took several days to warm up to his new family, especially Bryan (adult male). He was very timid and unsure. Marley is trained to sit, down, and come. He doesn't stay very well, but he tries. He can be off leash and will return. When he's on leash, he doesn't care about other animals in the vicinity. In the two years we've had him, we've had to keep him separated from our other male dog, when both fixed males are in the yard together, Marley will charge at the other male dog and chase him around the yard aggressively. We have had to keep either male dog locked up so the other can roam the house, as they can't be in the same room together. It's not working out, and Marley needs a new home since he was here second. He gets along fine with the female dogs in the home. He barks at the barn cats and will chase them, if he has opportunity, however he will come back when called. He loves attention, he gives hugs and will only give kisses if encouraged. He wants to be your only dog getting attention. He thinks he's a lap dog. He will also alert you if anyone comes into the driveway. Looking for a good home that's a better fit. He's been seen and inoculations administered at Kling Vet Clinic: (816) 887-2070.
