Ace von Achberg is a striking-looking, 15 month-old German Shepherd mix or Panda Shepherd. Like the hero in a classic summer movie, Ace came from a rural area to the big city to follow his dreams - and find a new chosen family. At first he was a bit shy and who wouldn't be? With a little support and compassion, Ace bloomed into one of the rescue's shining stars. He's comfortable and happy. Ace is always looking for guidance and listening for kind words with his extra-big ears. He knows sit and down, and takes treats very politely. Speaking of politeness, Ace plays fabulously well with other dogs, inviting them to play and respectfully backing off when other dogs don't want to go for a romp. He doesn't enjoy the company of cats, however. Ace is a perfect walking buddy.
