About Daisy

Meet Daisy, an adorable two-year-old, 42 lb. boxer/staffordshire terrier mix. She came to Connecticut from Texas back in January after being found as a stray. We cannot believe that no one has scooped this angel of a dog up yet! While she can be shy at first, Daisy adores ALL people and will greet you with a wiggly body and wagging tail. She loves to give kisses and cuddle too. There isn't an inch of the foster's couch that she hasn't snuggled with them on. Daisy is happiest when being pet, and returns all the love she gets tenfold. She is a pretty chill girl but will also never say no to a walk or zoomie around the yard. She is eager to please her humans and just wants to make you happy. Daisy can learn new things with repetition and treats - she's very smart! She knows sit and wait, and is fully crate and house trained. Daisy even learned how to use the bell by following the lead of the fosters dog. She used to be afraid to drive in the car and would get sick but has made great strides and now will hop in! Daisy would do best in a home with another pup. She needs some help with confidence building so either a home with a pup or someone who can have frequent play dates with other dogs. She would do best with older children as she can be afraid of fast movement and loud noises. Daisy also needs a fenced in yard (no electric fences as that would frighten her). She'll make a wonderful addition to any home! Her adoption fee is $375 and Daisy is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed.
