About Nacho

Hi I'm Nacho! It is my biggest dream to have a yard to run in and a family to love me. I'm a super loving and silly puppy in a full grown-package. I'm a very good boy. I'll wag my tail every time I see you. I have an adorable little mohawk and a big dopey smile. I have a lot of personality. I'm playful, sweet, silly, talkative, curious, easygoing, determined, and sneaky-smart. I love to meet people and they always tell me I'm so cute. My favorite things are: dogs, people, food, being outside in the grass and snow, playing with toys, going for walks, snuggling and tummy rubs! I know a bunch of commands and behaviors, and I'm a quick learner and eager to please. I am energetic and practicing playing gently. Living with kids (over age 9 and with dog experience) would be an adjustment for me. I don't have up close experience with cats yet but have worked on desensitization and obedience. Sometimes I have had anxiety in busy situations with new people, but I always calm down if you give me breaks, time, and reassurance. I shed moderately. When I came to Colorado I had a severely broken leg. Im healing really nicely and have almost full mobility back. I do still have pins in so it sometimes still hurts if I run really fast or for too long. There is a chance that down the road I might need the pins removed from my leg, but the rescue will cover that if the need arises. I have been through a lot and worked very hard in my year of foster care. I'm ready to meet my forever family and continue being the happiest dog ever!
