[Read About Natural Seizure Care] I have been fostering Pedro for over a year. He was rescued from a severe hoarding situation after his owner had a cardiac arrest. He was very fearful at first and would nip at/bite at people when scared and sometimes dribble pee. He doesn't like being reached for nor picked up like a toy and although he does okay with my children, he would be best in a home with older kids who are dog savvy and respect his boundaries. He also was fearful of new people at first and would want to bite them but since we have had him a while he has really warmed up and will approach new people after he settles and they let him come to them. He is really chill and would enjoy sitting on someone's lap all day and occasionally chasing a squeeky toy. He sleeps in a kennel at night and is mostly potty trained. He will use potty pads and does ask to go out but his cues get missed sometimes because he is so quiet about it. He will just stare at you. If you ask him if he wants to go out he will spin in a circle. He doesn't have a high 'wait' tolerance so when he has to go, it's usually urgent. He does okay with men after an adjustment but does for sure prefer females. Kids as I said are okay, but prefers adults. He is VERY bonded to me at this time and will literally follow me around from room to room. When we first got him, he was prone to running away if he got out the door. He never went super far but it seemed like he would get out and just get really confused. Now if he gets outside he doesn't go far because he prefers to be within 2 feet of me at all times. We have two cats in the house and he mostly ignores them but occasionally will chase them. Hasn't ever hurt or attacked them. We have one other dog and he exists along side him. He has learned by watching my dog, but they don't really play together. They have shared a crate a few times but would be bothered by each other so separate crate was better. Concerns: He does have a heart murmur and mild seizure condition. Neither of which have required meds, both of which have been checked by doctors.
