Tucker is a much loved 40 lb 'Mini' Aussie who has been with my family since puppyhood. I'm 75 and moving to housing where I can't have him. No family or friends are able to accommodate him. He is not the right dog for everyone. He is very reactive and has a history of 'mild' biting [but none in almost 3 years]. If you are interested but need more information, I'll explain in detail his biting history, what stresses him and how to prevent escalation. He would benefit from being with someone experienced with Aussies or similarly intense focused dogs. He is a very smart and loving dog. We've done Canine Scent work for about 5 years and he thrives on it. He loves to fetch a ball in the lake. He is equally comfortable being a lap dog and an adventure pal. He goes for occasional overnight boarding and day care in a space where he is happy mingling with other dogs. He has been a very special part of my life and I know he can be the same for someone a little younger than me. A lot to consider and certainly I'm happy to get acquainted before you make any decision.
