About Sadie

This adorable little girl is Sadie and she's in need of a new family due to changes within her current home. She has great qualities to offer someone - affection, cuddler extraordinaire, intelligent, FUN, and trained. Said knows to sit, come, lay down, heel, get & find the ball, and is potty & crate trained. Sadie loves to have a good time. She loves to play fetch with balls and frisbees. She's good in the car and will enjoy your car trips if you're inclined. She likes to have a little fun chasing lizards, squirrels, and even bees. She's a thinker and would probably love to do some fun training with agility, which she'd likely be very good at. Sadie is good with calm, submissive dogs, possibly better with male dogs. She was adopted by her current family at 5 months and has lived with another male dog named Max until last summer when he passed away. Sadie became so sad, and in his absence, she's become less confident and more anxious. When Max first became ill, she needed more reassurance and didn't want to be alone as much. In addition, Sadie's parents had a child, which has made her anxious. Before Sadie was adopted by her family, she had been tormented by the neighbor's young boys. Sadie does not feel comfortable with boys, especially. She has been ok with female children, but we feel she will be happier and better off in a home without children or who will provide supervision around small children. One of Sadie's most endearing qualities is her love and loyalty to her pack. Sadie will thrive in a quieter home with a family or single person who also wants to take walks twice a day (or more) and who enjoys playing ball, fetch, or frisbee. She hates loud, sudden noises and skateboards. Someone who works from home would be ideal, or without long work hours. It's very likely that with a quieter home where Sadie gets her routine activity, that she will blossom back to the girl she was before. Sadie is 7, 50 lbs, spayed, utd on shots, and microchipped.
