About Igloo

8/12/23 **Updated Post** Igloo has an estimated DOB of Jan '22 which makes him roughly a year and a half. He weighs around 40-45 pounds and looks to be a mini golden retriever/shep mix. He came to us as part of a seizure case back in Feb of '23 and has done well in rescue. He's happy and social with the dogs in his play group as well as the staff that care for him. We don't know why he's still around but he would love nothing more to escape this TX heat and find his forever home and a family who will give him booty rubs, he loves his booty rubs! He's got great energy and would be a great jogging or hiking buddy. A fully fenced yard to run and play in would be excellent, he's smart as a whip and would learn quickly anything you put in front of him. He would probably chase your cats and they would not like him so a home with no cats would be best. He can use some work on leash and obedience traning. We know he's crate trained but the rescue is a kennel environment so we don't know about house training, he's used to going outside so it should not be hard for him to catch on. The adoption fee is $350 which covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees. All our dogs come with a 30 day, money back, trial period to make sure they are the right fit in your environment but if it doesn't work you will have to foster until the dog gets rehomed.
