fostered in Knoxville, Tn Leah 11 years old Spayed Female Blue Cattle Dog Approximately 50 pounds UTD on vaccines, HW negative Rehoming fee $80 to help cover cost of vaccines Leah is a spunky, loving gal with lots of energy. She has found herself in need of a new home through no fault of her own. She loves people and plays well with most other dogs. She would do well with other dogs, or as an only dog, but would need to be fed separately. No cats. Leah is super intelligent and highly treat motivated. She learns new things quickly and walks well on leash. Full disclosure, she does randomly lunge at cars, or small animals (squirrels, chickens, etc) which can be corrected with positive reinforcement training. She already knows sit and give paw. Leah would do well with a family, or an individual, but a fenced in yard is a must as she like to chase small animals and would be in danger of being hit by a car. Leah has led her life indoors with access to a fenced in yard, so a similar situation would do her best. Leah enjoys walks, shopping, lots of love from strangers, and did well in the Mardi Growl parade this year. She does best with moderate walks letting her take time for lots of sniffing.
