STEVIE - ID #A816509 Ventura County Shelter, Camarillo, So Cal. Please help us find a loving home or foster and or rescue for this younger, sweet chow mix girl the Ventura shelter has fondly named Stevie and says is approximately 40 lbs so she may also be mixed with American eskimo or another smaller dog. Stevie was found as a stray and sadly no one came for her. Seeing her neglect, maybe that is a good thing so we can hopefully find a nicer home that she deserves. Not surprisingly, Stevie came into the shelter quite scared and is on the shy side and needs a patient person to open their home to foster or adopt. The shelter has been working her gave us this pupdate on 2/12/23:'She's come a ways but we're getting there. Food and toy motivated.' So far, she has sort of avoided the other dogs but the shelter is working with her to warm up to other dogs as she may never been around other dogs. She should flourish in a patient home who understands she may need time to warm up.
