About Zeus

This sweet boy is Zeus. He is just a little over a year old and weighs 50 pounds. We think he is a Spaniel or Beagle mix. He is a good boy who loves to please his people. Zeus is in a foster home with other dogs and loves to play. He is very well housetrained and has not even had an accident at his foster home. Zeus is a cuddly guy and likes to snuggle on the couch and watch TV. He watches with you but never complains about the show you are watching. At night Zeus either sleeps with his foster parents or in a dog bed in their room. Zeus has been kenneled with they leave home and has done fine. Now he is being left loose in their home. He hasn't bothered anything but food can't be left on the counters. Zeus knows how to sit and walks pretty well on a leash. He is a smart guy and learns new things quickly. The one thing this boy doesn't enjoy are car rides. He gets nauseous. We don't think car rides have ever been a good experience for him. We think every time he has been in the car, he has lost his home or gone to the vet. We hope that in time with short trips where good things happen that he will outgrow this. Zeus requires a physically fenced yard to run and play safely. Zeus came into rescue as a local owner surrender. His owner moved and didn't take either of her dogs with her. Neither were in good condition. Zeus gained 10 pounds and is now at a healthy weight. Zeus is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped and just had a dental.
