About Creek

3 and a half year old, 75 lb. hound(?) mix Creek has been at our rescue for 2 and a half years with little interest due to 'stranger danger.' He does best meeting women but could possibly welcome men into his life with slow, proper introductions and a confident handler. NO KIDS. Once Creek trusts you, he is goofy, cuddly, loves toys, and loves to go on walks. Even though he isn't fond of strangers, he is not reactive toward people when on walks in the community. He is very dog friendly - he has met female dogs, male dogs, low to high energy dogs, young dogs, senior dogs, etc. and has gotten along with all of them. We really want to see Creek in a safe, forever home with a dog-savvy person or family that understands stranger danger and understands that once they work through his trust issues, they will have a loyal, loving companion. Creek has been to physical therapy for hip dysplasia. Surgery is not recommended at this time. Even though he is afraid of strangers, he is well-mannered at the vet office.
