About Harris

Harris is a young dog with an old soul. He is such a joy to have around and is a great companion. Harris 'imitates' an older dogs personality because he is truly a chill boy and quiet just like older dogs are. He is a laid back, low-energy dog. Harris is a quiet dog and does not bark. If you are looking for a chill dog that doesn't demand much out of life, Harris is a great choice. He loves all people, including children. Strangers are just another word for friend to Harris; he loves everyone he meets and vice versa. Harris is the best co-pilot; he rides well once you get him in the car. He is also a great companion if you are working or going to school from home. Harris loves his person and will stay by their side, so someone who is home a better part of the day would make him very happy. He would be a good pup for an apartment, condo or townhome since he is well behaved, quite and does not require a fence. He is very smart, obedient, and is house trained. He is also already crate trained and sleeps 8 hours through the night. He is leash trained and loves getting out for walks with his family and meeting other people and dogs on his daily walks. Harris does have another dog and cat in his foster home. He likes to go on walks and play dates with his doggy friends, but he prefers to be the only pet at home to keep all the love and affection to himself. A home with a fenced in yard is not required but if you have one Harris does like to roam and play on his own or with his doggie friends. He likes playing with toys and a good ole game of tug-o-war is fun, too. Harris really is good with dogs in public, but really prefers to be the only at home. He does best with submissive dogs. Harris would be ok with a home cats. Harris is interested in cats and will curiously follow them. He will chase if they run so dog savvy cats are best. DOB 01/11/2022. He is a 71lbs Lab/Shepherd mix. As part of Harris $300 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
