About Chapo

American Staffordshire Terrier / Vizsla
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

*URGENT* Chapo is now in need more than ever. His owner is desperately trying to find him placement. If Chapo can't find a foster (while owner continues to look for a permanent home) or a forever home, his only option currently is to go to a local organization who has encouraged his owner to euthanize Chapo. Chapo doesn't display any behaviors that would warrant euthanasia. How cute is Chapo? This guy is looking for a new place to call home. All about Chapo: He's 2.5 years old. He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Currently lives with a Poodle/Shi Tzu Mix and gets along well. He lives with a cat and gets along well but when playful, he may chase him to play. Loves to snuggle! He's crate and house trained. He likes riding in the car. He can be at home alone for a workday (he naps and will be ready to play when you get home). He loves his toy stuffies and playing fetch. Loves to go on walks, walks well on a leash but he can bark a little when he sees a new dog or person that may make him feel threatened, but is fine when he knows all is well. He currently lives with human siblings (ages 7 and 1) and the toddler makes him uneasy and nervous. He'd do best in a home with teen children who are respectful of a dog's boundaries. Please share Chapo for a new match. If you are interested in meeting Chapo, please email us at [email protected] and we'll put you in touch with his owners.
