About Euthanized soon

Could be euthanized at any time!!!! He is 47LBS and will make a very nice dog for someone!!!! Please fill out the application online if. you can help Blaze before it is too late. I have a dog that I adopted like him (same with a black coat and he wonderful) Blaze is a great dog and was found as a stray.He is now in a shelter on the east coast and is at risk to be euthanized . He is great with other dogs and had a deformity either from birth or old injury of the front leg. He appears to have an old injury or birth defect to the left front paw which makes it turn out. It does not bother him and, medically, everything is else appears to be within normal limits. He is heartworm negative and vaccinated. Behavior: He has been nervous in the kennel. He is easily looped but does yelp whenever there is tension on the leash. In the yard, he comes up to you and allows gentle petting. During his assessment he did not growl or attempt to bite at any time. During processing, clinic noted that he can be fearful - lip-licking and tail tucked. They were able to loop leash him and walk him onto the weigh scale. A can of food was used as a motivator to encourage him to walk. Request to Rescues: This boy needs rescue due to an old injury and his fearful behavior in the shelter environment. He needs someone who can go slow with him and give him the time needed to warm up to you.
