About Lamar

Lamar is a sweet and friendly mixed breed boy! Our best guess of his breed mixes are Aussie/Sheltie/Husky. We are waiting for a DNA test to get his actual mixes. He's approximately 5 years old and weighs 48 pounds. He was found as a stray in Kansas. He is friendly with other dogs and loves to play with his foster brother in the backyard, so a fenced yard would be best for him. He did have some reactivity with another unneutered male, but there was a recently spayed female nearby as well. He would love another playful sibling in his forever home, but not required if he gets enough exercise from you. He likes to go for walks, but does need some training with this and some coaxing with treats or his foster brother. He loves to be near his foster mom and follows her wherever she goes. Once he gets some confidence, he would be an excellent running or hiking buddy! He is potty trained and is crate trained although he's not a big fan of the crate so give him some things to do in the crate. He does get some separation anxiety, so the crate is the best place for him when you leave the house. He can be left free roam at night. Due to his larger size, only kids 10+ in the home please. He is not cat tested. Lamar is neutered, utd on vaccines, HW-, and chipped.
