Sancho is a 3-year-old long hair Chihuahua weighing approximately 9 pounds. He is timid and cautious until he knows you will not hurt him. People found him as a stray and left him unattended with a group of children. He did bite one of them and was on quarantine at animal services. So he must go to a home with no children. He is friendly and affectionate but he does take time to warm up to new people which is understandable considering what happened to him. He walks well on a leash and appears to be house-trained, though we never guarantee that. He has not been tested with cats but absolutely no children. His adoption donation is $300 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip. He is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. He will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion if you will give him a chance. https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/Project/sancho/ We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.
