About Raya

Raya is the sweetest, most gentle dog. With a lot of patience, love, and a bit of string cheese, she has become less fearful of new things and is blooming into the dog she was always meant to be. Raya is so sweet, we don't think she would even bite a flea if one were to bite her! (No worries there. She is 101% flea free.) She takes treats with care and plants kisses ever so gingerly. Even when she climbs up onto the couch to cuddle, she does so quietly in a way that won't disturb your current comfy position. Raya is house and crate trained and does good with both dogs and cats. We believe another dog in the home that is confident is what is best for her so she can continue to learn what it's like to be a beloved pet. She likes playing in the snow and running around the yard so a physical fence would be good for her as well. Raya needs a patient forever family that will love the simple beauty she is and will continue to encourage her to come out of her shell. Though she is afraid of everyone and everything at first, she eventually warms up nicely. Her adoption fee is $235 and she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is approximately 2 years old and 41 pounds. We aren't sure of her heritage, so we have sent away a DNA test because curious minds want to know and will add that once the results are in.
