About Sabrina

Adoption Fee: 75
Domestic Cat
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Sabrina is a beautiful short haired black cat, back in our care after 6 years. She was adopted from us as a kitten, then surrendered back to us 6 years later after she was not adjusting to her owner's lifestyle and started to dislike the other cat in the house. For two weeks, poor Sabrina was terrified. She was confused, scared of us, and wouldn't interact, barely would eat. Her heart was broken. Our foster mom slowly let her know she was safe and ok, and that everything would be ok. She is now coming out of her shell, trusting more, and we have learned more about her. Foster home update 9/4/23: She has an amazing variety of vocalizations and does the absolute cutest thing where she snorts if she gets excited or upset. She's adjusted to all of the other animals better than I expected, although is incredibly possessive of Rob and loves to sit next to him whenever he's on the couch. Sabrina waits in his seat all day so that she'll be the first one in line to snuggle in. When we get on the floor to wrestle with Odi, she charges in with confidence because she doesn't want to miss out. She could hide all day, but prefers to be in the middle of things. And we get the delight of hearing her snort when another kitty gets too close to her. Her ideal home would probably be with someone who can dedicate lots of time and attention to her, and know that her happiest moments are when you are with her. She would probably be best as an only pet, but has shown that she can adjust to fit the situation too. Sabrina is 7 yrs old, healthy, and absolutely beautiful in her black shiny coat and green eyes. If you think you are her person and can give her the home she deserves, please apply. All cats are at least 8 weeks old at time of adoption, are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies - if at least 16 wks old), and given a starter dose of flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
