About Warbucks

Very sweet, attention loving, playful, cuddle bug. This sweet boy wandered into our lives a few months ago, very underweight, and wearing a collar with no id tag. We were not sure what his situation was, but it quickly became clear that he was lost or abandoned. The weather was about to turn unseasonably cold, so we brought him into our home. We tried everything we could think of to find his owners, but we're unsuccessful. We named him Warbucks (because he was wearing a Coach collar when he found us, and I like to think I'm funny), and decided to try to keep him since he wasn't claimed. In all honesty, I am very sad to have to let this lovely boy go, but unfortunately one of our other cats just refuses to get along with him. Warbucks seems like he would get along with other cats, but we cannot be for sure about this; and he seems to ignore our dog more than anything, but since our dog is very old and just sleeps most of the time, I don't think this is necessarily a good indicator of if he does well with dogs. We have not seen him around children, but he has easily made friends with every adult (male and female) that he has come in to contact with. We do not know anything about his medical history, but we do know that he has been neutered. Warbucks also seems to have a fish allergy and possibly some sort of allergy irritated by something in dry cat food. We have been feeding him fish product free wet cat food, and he seems to be fine with that. Also, he has had his front paws declawed. Warbucks is currently living in our spare bedroom, and needs to find a new home where he can roam around and be more himself. He is genuinely one of the sweetest and cuddliest cats I have ever met, and trust me, I have met a LOT of cats, so that's saying something.
