About Chico

Chico loves his toys! What he doesn't love the shelter though. Chico is a return customer and is stressed about being back. His little eyes were red already after his first day. Chico couldn't wait to get outside. His whole underside of his chin was soggy from nervously drooling too. If owners only knew how much damage the stress did to their dogs, maybe they'd come quicker. Or maybe we can't make people care more period. Chico deserves care and compassion. He's a wonderful boy! Chico knows some commands and takes treats nicely. We had to put them in his mouth practically because he was so distracted. Once he found a soccer ball he liked, Chico was focused on fun. He needed to chew it standing on top of the toy box for some reason but we thought it was adorable. Come meet him at the CACC shelter in Chicago! Adoptions take place daily from 12p-6p
