About Fester

Fester - Fes is kind of an old man in a puppy body. If you tell him to sit he grumbles about it while giving you side eye the whole time. When he is following you around he likes to take his time and smell the roses as he goes. While he does like to be held so he can lay his head on your shoulder, he does not like to be held on his back like a baby. He has been getting exposed to other dogs at adoption events, my large Weimaraner and GSP. He has been getting supervised exposure to cats and small parrots. His crate training is progressing and he does fairly well as long as he is in a crate with another dog, but he does not like to be alone. He is doing very well with his potty training. He is old enough to make it through the night with only needing to go out once as long as he is taken out right before bedtime. He has not been exposed to dog doors yet. He basic command training has started and does very well with sit. Stay is progressing very well. He does pretty well with come as long as he does not get distracted, but being a puppy that happens a lot.
