About Buzz

Adoption Fee: 500
Irish Wolfhound
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Buzz is an approximately 8 month old, 31 pound Portuguese Podengo who came to foster care after being found wandering alone outside. Buzz is an incredibly sweet and playful boy who loves play time with humans - including children! - and dogs. Though Buzz hasn't had a lot of exposure to cats, we think he could cohabitate with a confidant dog-savvy cat. Buzz has seen the cat in his foster home a few times, and was interested, but not aggressive. Buzz loves company, and while his separation anxiety is getting better, he has barked for his humans while they are away. For this reason, we don't recommend apartment life for this fella. Buzz is completely housebroken. He goes right to the door and scratches when he needs to go out! He sleeps through the night quietly in his crate. Buzz is still learning leash manners, and while he loves to be outside he is pulling on leash. Since he is just a baby, he will need an owner who is ready to continue his training to help him become the best pup he can be. The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on (a href='https://www.facebook.com/brokentailrescue?fref=ts')Facebook!(/a). Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
