About Patch

Patch is a lovable 2.5 year old Australian shepherd cattle dog mix. He is incredibly intelligent and knows many commands and needs frequent mental stimulation due to his level of intelligence. He is reactive towards other dogs while on leash and needs redirection when walking. Off leash, patch does well with other dogs and would do well in a home with other dogs. He is slow to trust strangers but once he trusts you, he is the most loyal companion. He is indifferent to cats and can be in a home with cats. He will need to be with someone who has patience towards his anxiety.
