About Scarlet & Winkie

Scarlet and Winkie were both shy cats when they came into our care. Scarlet was Winkie's mother figure and he comforted her after her kittens were adopted. This pair have been in a foster home for a long time staying in the 'cat room'. They used to be quite shy but now are just content with the occasional attention. They are low-key, they enjoy napping and would make a great couch companion. Neither are super fond of being picked up and carried around, but are ok with general affection and Winkie can be a little talker at times. This pair would love to have a home where they get one on one attention everyday and just want a 'person' of their own. Scarlet is estimated to be 5 1/2 years young and Winkie is a little over 2. Both have been spayed/neutered, they have tested negative for FIV/FeLV, been vaccinated and will be microchipped. We are a Mississippi based rescue, we travel to the NE monthly with our pre-adopted animals and meet with adopters at a predetermined time and location.
