About Oliver

Oliver is just about a year old and about 18#. We really don't know his breed. He looks like a Swedish Lapphund but that's not on the list! Maybe a Pom/schipperke mix? It's anyone's guess! He has a black shiny silky wavy coat and adorable ears! Oliver was picked up as a stray and no one claimed him. He was probably raised outside with little socialization. He is quite shy but is learning. He also didn't have exposure to other dogs but he is learning to get along. He would enjoy a home with an active dog around his size that would race around with him and run off some energy! We prefer an all adult home with a fenced yard for this sweet guy! Oliver is not leash trained. He is still alligator rolling but definitely has potential! Oliver is definitely an active boy who loves his toys especially squeaky balls and is very self entertaining. Oliver is not completely housebroken so that will take a bit of work however another trained dog to learn from would probably do the trick! He is crate trained if on a schedule. Oliver will need a bit of patience along with lots of love but I believe he will be a most loving and loyal companion in the long run! He just needs his chance! And he is so darn cute! Well worth the effort! :-)
