About Ruthie

Adopt Ruthie! Ruthie is a great combination of energetic, fun and playful, while at the same time obedient and submissive. She knows how to be gentle to smaller dogs and isn't afraid to rough house with the larger dogs. And her best friend in foster care is actually a cat! They run around the yard and chase either other, but, of course, the cat is definitely in charge. Ruthie can be a little shy at first around new people but she warms up quickly and then get ready for non-stop tail wags and unconditional love. She needs a little more practice on walks because she is so curious and gets very excited but she does well on the leash (I would recommend a harness for better her comfort) and takes direction well. She has not been around small children and I'm sure she would do well, but she would need some practice on how to be gentle with little people because she just wants to give everyone big wet kisses!
