Dee Dee (F / 1.5years) - Foster Care needed with the view to Adopt Current Location: Greater Geelong, VIC When a new dog comes to us we spend considerable time getting to know each and every dog. You may all remember our adorable deaf girl, DeeDee. For a considerable time now we have being trying to find DeeDee the perfect home but due to her very special requirements we are finding it quite difficult. Well today we have turned everything around - DeeDee made the trip to meet our trainer! DeeDee is a very pretty small girl who unfortunately up until now has been very misunderstood. It turns out she has not been receiving very clear instructions of what is wanted from her. Within a very short time spent with our trainer DeeDee has calmed down and her behaviour improved immensely. All it took was us to find a way to communicate with her in a way that she understands. DeeDee is a very affectionate girl who loves people and is extremely eager to learn and to please. Does DeeDee need to be trained properly? Yes, but our trainer will assist you. Can DeeDee be with another dog in the future? Most likely, but for now she needs a home where she is the only dog (we will discuss this further with her new foster carer) Are you going to be able to take DeeDee to a cafe and sit and have breakfast down the track?
