About Max

Max was given to me from someone off Facebook, and told us that his past owners abused him. However we think the people who gave Max to us we're the one who abused him. Max is a great dog but he is very timid and anxious. He pees a lot inside when he is nervous. He also tends to nip at people when they trigger him. I realized he doesn't like getting kissed on the head because he nipped at me. He is a very good dog other than his past, he loves walks, car rides, swimming. We love maxbut we work all day and can't give him the right attention he needs to feel safe. We also are moving to a smaller home and won't have the right space for him. We believe that if we can find a home for him with someone who is good with Austrialian Shepherds and has the right time and care for Max, then he will feel very loved. We have tried to make him feel safe but we're stuck and need him out before we move at the end of the week. We don't want to bring him to a shelter because we're not those kind of people but not sure what else to do.
