About Walker

Walker really is the perfect dog. This 2 year old, 60lbs, hound boy is described by his foster as one amazing dog, who listens very well, dog, cat and kid friendly. She goes on to say that he's so sweet and playful and will tell you when it's time to go on walk by carrying his leash around. He's good in his crate although sometimes he feels like it's necessary to get your attention by howling, but he quiets quickly. Walker is a goofy pup and can be aloof at times, he will steal towels, cell phones, or anything you leave unattended and try to run away with it so you would chase him. His play style with other dogs consists of catch me if you can and air boxing :) He's very food motivated but doesn't like humans to mess with his high value items such as bones or bully sticks. He would love to be a running or hiking buddy but he's also happy to sit around getting pets. He's very strong and needs an equally strong handler and some much needed leash training.
