About Ellie

Meet Ellie!! WOW is she AMAZING! She is a 7 year young absolute love bug! Crate trained, walks well on leash, sits, down, stay, and comes when called. She has medium energy, a little walk and fetch is her jam, and of course she adores pets! She also likes to catch an occasional bee out of the air and eat it for a nice high protein snack! She loves laying outside in the sun and soaking it all up. She definitely thinks she's a little dog in her 50lb body! If sitting on the floor she will come over and try her best to curl up in your lap! She is SUCH a good girl, and lives to please! a high pitched 'good girl' is all she wants in life! She is also highly food motivated especially cheese and bacon, yum! She is good with her foster sister cat who she gladly let's run the house! She is also good with her foster's chickens (Amazing right!!). A soft 'eh eh' is enough to get her to stop doing anything you don't want her to do and she learns very quickly! She does not jump, she runs to you and sits and stomps her cute little front feet letting you know she's soooo excited for a pet! Initially she was separated from the cat with a gate before they got to know each other, and get this, she has been so good at her training she still won't cross over the gate line while it's open without an invitation. She really is wow when it comes to listening! She is very responsive and in tune with her trainer, she loves a good training session where she gets to be a good girl over and over!! If you're looking for a new bestie, that is her absolute goal in life! She would do best in a home with adults and/or older kids who could enjoy training her too, training really is her love language!
