About Kiara

Kiara is a two year old cattle dog mix. She originally came as a puppy, but was returned because the other dog in the house started to resource guard and a trainer was not called into assist. As a result, she has developed her own resource guarding with other dogs with food, which we are working on to recondition her. She has been doing very well. She loves people, but can be leary of some men and will try and hide behind one of us. We would recommend older kids maybe 10 to 12 and up. She loves to play fetch in the yard, and loves her bones and treats. She enjoys car rides, she is house trained, crate trained, and great on leash. She tends to act like a little princess, which is what we all say to her all the time, lol. Her little face will definitely make you smile and she responds well to commands. Please give this pup a chance, she's had a rough go of it so far and all she wants to do is please her owner and be loved and cuddled.
