My name is Diamond. I do shine. I'm a special puppy for sure. I'm about 6 months old we think. I was found out of Tucson city limits by the freeway. Not only am I cute, I'm smart. Can we talk about my eyes for a minute please? My eyeliner is more on point than anyone you can think of. My eyes in whole kinda look like stars. Am I right?! Okay, I will continue. As I mentioned I'm about 6 months old. I'm dog door potty trained. You read that right! I'm potty trained to use a dog door. If you open the door and tell me to potty I do that too. But you need to open the door for potty time often. Remember I'm still a youngster. I sit for treats and while I wait for you to put my bowl down to eat. YUMMY! I love to eat and I love treats too. I love to snuggle with you. I just want to be near you. I was scared when I was lost and no one looked for me. I know that because we tried to find my old family but we couldn't find them. I don't want to lose my foster mom while I wait to to be adopted into my new forever home. So I stick close by. My foster mom has mobility challenges often. I have learned as well as I can for my age to stay out from underfoot. I don't jump on her very often but I know what down means. Sometimes I just get too excited. Somehow I know if she falls down all us dogs are in trouble. Mainly because there's no one here to take over mealtimes. Hey, a growing puppy has to be practical. Am I right? Every single dog here would miss their food. I like to play with a little dog here. She will put up with me until she's tired. Then she has a mean growl and sometimes a snap. I understand that message. She needs a break. I love to eat. I love treats. I'm pretty quiet. I don't bark much. What I'd really love is a real home of my own to finish growing up in. To actually have my own person or family to love. I have lots of love to give. Will you pick me please? I love to learn, oh and dig. I love to dig in the backyard but honestly I'm working on that.
