About Waylen

Waylen is a wonderful dog,loyal,extremely intelligent, loving, funny, eager to work. He was heavily abused by the people who purchased him. They bought him as their first dog ever, a family pet. And when he would nip they would panic,hit him, lock him in a coveted crate for days in their garage and would refuse him food. My mom is their neighbor and took him in for now. They live in the country, I am in Neenah, middle of the city. I attempted to take and work with him, but the environment is too much for him. He very quickly became overwhelmed and had aggressive reactions to others. And after a fire alarm went off in the building became highly aggressive towards me. I want to help him but I am not equipt to give him what he needs. We love him very much, and want to see him happy. He currently lives with my mother, grandmother, and 2 labs. He does so well with my children and our cat. He is terrified of people he doesn't know, but has a heavy bond with my mother who can help with transition. We want him safe, and her landlord is going to evict her and my grandmother if he doesn't go somewhere. And my landlord said the same, I'm trying to find new housing, but I won't be able to move in time. Please someone help him, he really is a phenomenal boy who was delt the worst hand. He deserves a family who will love him and can work him the way he was bred to work.
