About Mia

Mia is an affectionate girl looking for an active home. She is friendly and playful and loves to scratch her back on the carpet. She is excellent on a leash and would enjoy long walks through the park. Mia is available for a virtual meet and greet after an adoption application is submitted. **We are a rescue in Mississippi that travels up the East coast once a month to meet adopters with their pre-adopted dogs and cats at a predetermined time and location. Dixie Adoptables is one of many shelters working to get animals out of the area where shelters are always full, and adoptions of the sweet babies are hard to come by. We are grateful to every person that chooses to adopt and give a home to a loving animal, whose only fault was being born in a part of the country where their value is underappreciated and spay/neuter is done far too infrequently.
