About Lastly

This is 'Lastly' and here's his story. There's definitely Magic in the air if you were rescued on New Year's Eve 2022. It was just in the nick of time as an expected ice storm was quickly closing in on Grove, OK. A cold wind swirled about the legs of the small group of chilled rescue volunteers sorting out tiny, still nursing puppies. The little ones were spread out over three locations and to their amazement all six were healthy and immediately taken in for their necessary care and medical attention. Mama got spayed and all of them were quickly adopted. A happy ending! Well maybe not happy for all of them. There was one little guy with beautiful markings that gave his face a look of character and good breeding. He was blessed with a glistening dark coat that was remarkable in his situation. Unfortunately, in spite of his good looks and healthy demeanor this little one was unusually shy. When potential adopters came to visit, he stayed to the back hoping that someone would search him out. But that didn't happen. His siblings all gregarious and outgoing were quickly adopted while he still sat unnoticed. Waiting, hoping for a family. When his last brother left to go home with his new family, 'Lastly' suddenly realized he was alone. Had he been able to speak I feel certain he'd called out�'�|WAIT. I need a family too! Every now and again the best of a litter can be overlooked. That seems to be the case for 'Lastly'. The last to be chosen. Who would guess that a pup full of love that's already Micro-chipped, has all his shots, neutered and HOUSEBROKEN would still be available? 'Lastly' at only 14 months old is the perfect blend of puppyhood growing into a sweet adult. For those of you reading this who also need a bit of extra time to develop new friendships you'll know how hard it can be. 'Lastly' hopes for someone with a bit of patience to let him settle in slowly. It won't take too very long as once settled in you'll find you've made a good choice and a forever friend. Lastly will come with vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, flea treated, wormed, neutered and micro-chipped. $215 rescue adoption fee applies.
