About Oscar

Oscar is a precious senior Aussie/Border Collie looking for a perfect place to spend his golden years. Don't let his age (8-10 years?) fool you! This guy has lots of life and love left! He was found as a stray in rural VA, and while his owner was located, she refused to come get him. Oscar was suffering from severe flea dermatitis but now he's being treated and is on preventatives. With some time and good nutrition, his coat is already starting to grow in! Oscar loves to cuddle on the couch, snuggle in warm beds and play with toys -- he loves his ball and will happily trot after it. He's excellent on a leash (he enjoys several walks a day) and he is house trained. he absolutely loves to explore the woods near his foster home and also enjoys the more urban areas -- always eager to walk up and say hi to a human or a dog. This gentleman is a kind soul who is the perfct office mate. He weighs about 37 pounds. They ideal home for Oscar is one with a human that works from home or is recently retired and can really spend quality time with this wonderful guy.
