About Dexter

Hey! I'm Dexter and I am here at the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter hoping to find a home and need help to do that. See, I used to run with a bad pack in my past which got me into trouble with the law. Yeah, not my finest hour. Now, I didn't actually do anything bad but was guilty by association. Sucks. So, here I am looking for a responsible pawrent who will provide the basics. You know, shelter, love, food, will keep the doors and gates closed and will have fun with me. Not hard, eh? What is also not hard, is looking at me. I'm quite handsome and make all the ladies hearts flutter a little. Been told that I take awesome photos and my favorite volunteer makes sure to get my best side. What she also does is take me out on the town to meet lots of people. I have met so many people but no one wants to take me home for some reason. I am indifferent to dogs and might want to live with one. Cats are stupid, so they are not a match. Little kids, not sure as I haven't been around them. There are a few other things that can be discussed but ultimately, I am awesome and deserve a second chance. Now, time is not on my side and need out of the shelter. There are no open kennels so space needs to be made and you know that doesn't always go well.
