(DOB 10/28/2022). Due to Blake's young age, he has not yet been neutered. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). If you are looking for a sweet, fun, energetic, confident pup, Blake is your boy! He wakes up every day ready to take on the world! He LOVES to play! He loves his toys and can entertain himself, but would much prefer to play with another pup! His goal in life is to eat, play, play, and play some more and then rest to get ready to play again! He's very curious and loves to follow his people around to see what else he can learn about! He talks to let you know what's on his mind and has quite the conversations. He will snuggle up and nap when he's tired and it's the sweetest thing ever! Put in your application NOW for a fun loving dude who will have you laughing every day with his silly antics! Blake needs an active home with other dogs with similar energy levels, so he can play and burn his puppy energy. He loves to be around his people and dog friends and loves going to doggie daycare. Blake is sweet and must have lots of varieties in toys to play with! He also loves car rides and is happy to run errands or go for rides with you. He is very curious about everything so needs constant supervision until he learns what he can and can't do. Blake is at that age where everything is still going in his mouth so proper monitoring and positive reinforcement training is going to be required by his new family. Puppies need lots of consistency, routine and boundaries to learn and build good behaviors. Luckily, he's very smart and treat motivated. We can't stress enough how important it is to provide daily training with your new puppy that include loose leash walking which he is already working on with his foster family. Blake gets a lot of opportunities to go outside to go potty throughout. He still uses pee pads some, and we are working on house training. Since he has lots of puppy energy, his foster mom makes sure to break up his play time and give him rest breaks. He wants to play every chance he gets. He is good in his crate; sleeps in his crate during the day and at night. Since he is still chewing and nipping, no young children. As part of Blake's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. At the time of adoption, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
