About Beau

Meet Beau I'm one year young & 70 lbs lean. Most will agree that I'm part shepherd but my foster mom in Joliet, IL, believes that I'm a good part mastiff. What does it matter, I'm Gorgeous! I need a large fenced yard. One other med - large energetic dog to romp with would be nice ( not necessary) or an owner who was home a lot because I am devoted & would like to share my loyalty. I'm told little kids aren't a good idea because my long tail alone could send them airborne lol. I just learned to be potty trained. They had a door where my foster bros & I could come & go whenever we wanted. Then they tried to trick me & lock the door at times but all I had to do was scratch or cry at the door & they'd let me out. Now we take away the water at a certain time & then lock that door for the night. I haven't had one accident or behavioral incident since I've been here. I'm a good boy & like the outdoors. I don't mind being in the crate for a bit but not for long hours. I still need work with the leash but I am neutered.
