About Otis

Wonderful family dog. Great in the house. Easy going.He is perfect except... If he encounters a cat outside He. Will. Kill. It! Inside, with family about he sleeps with cats, eats with cats, kittens climb all over him and he appears to enjoy it. A cat he had lived with for years got outside and was brutally dispatched before we could get to him. This dog shows zero aggression otherwise. We realized that the disappearance of our barn cats might be his doing. Then it happened again.This is not a case of 'overplaying' the cat. Goofy sweet Otis becomes a cold-blooded cat assassin then back to normal in seconds. We have tried everything and he just has this serious glitch about any cat outside. We have inside and (and did have) outside cats. He does not seem to understand why we are so angry.
