About Giallo

Meet Giallo (meaning yellow dog). Giallo is a yellow Lab mix, 65 pounds, very happy, funny, and full of energy boy. We have nicknamed him after a social media yellow lab star Denver because he smiles. You cannot help but laugh when he smiles at you. It's almost as if he is laughing. He is very sweet and loving towards all dogs and people. Giallo will need some training since it's apparent whoever had him prior to his arrival at a local shelter was never taught much. Giallo has been learning since arriving. He is now crate trained although he definitely prefers not to be in one. He is nearly potted trained and has had no recent accidents. He has lots of energy to burn, so would be well suited for a household that is active, and that can play, run and enjoy outdoor activity. Giallo is starting to learn how to calm himself and enjoy a good chew on a bully stick. He is very affectionate, learning to not jump up, and has masterfully learned our routine. He has no aggressive behaviors and deserves a fabulous family that can give him the time and attention he needs. His ideal home will have a large fenced-in yard to romp in, another dog to play with, and ideally a stay-at-home or work-from-home individual if at all possible or a few days a week at doggie daycare to break up a week. He had a wound on his nose, but nothing concerning, but it will take time to heal.
